Philosophy

I craft each piece by combining traditional expertise with a commitment to excellence, creating handmade accessories that exude authenticity. I select high-quality materials and employ meticulous craftsmanship to ensure that every piece tells a story.

The intention

Creating objects that stand the test of time

At Darven, everything is handmade with care. No mass production: each item is designed to last for years to come.

I love objects that tell a story, that evolve, and that develop character over time.

A variety of metal sewing and craft tools laid out on a wooden surface, including a knife, pliers, a screwdriver, and a four-pronged tool.

The gesture

First and foremost, there is the action

Precise movements repeated until they become second nature.

They carry within them the legacy of generations of leatherworkers.

The object is an extension of this movement. It is the visible mark of a job well done.

About

Darven is a craft workshop where I work as a leatherworker, based in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés near Paris.

After training at a prestigious Parisian workshop, I decided to open my own workshop.

There, I experiment with new ways of working with leather and expressing my vision of the craft.

And I enjoy collaborating with the artisans and artists whose work inspires me.
